Have some lunch at Bac Yen, before you continue north alongside the banks of the river and finally reach your 2nd-day destination, Son La, to have an overnight stay at the hotel.

The mesmerizing natural surroundings are hard to be overlooked. Along the way, we go passed dark caves, to get to Black Thai village, where we rest for a bit, with short breaks in between to have some lunch and take pictures.
Way before the day ends, we arrive at Muong Lay, and after you check in at your hotel, you are free to do as you please until dinnertime! Make sure you gather some strength tonight, as tomorrow will bring you close to the most demanding and distant route of the trip!
