Depending on availability, and at no extra cost, we welcome you to stay with us either before or after your trip at our Flamingo Homestay located in the old quarter of Hanoi.
Brief itinerary:
Day 1: Hanoi – Ba Vi (160 km/approx. 6 hours)
Ba Vi national park is located 60 km from Hanoi and is easily accessible by taking the road 32 highway. The road 32 is a busy boring road, so we decided to create the Ba Vi GPS self guided long way round tour. Let our pre programmed mapped out GPS take you on a fascinating journey through all the back country roads that runs north of the road 32. When you arrive to Ba Vi you have the option to climb up to the mountain peek more than 1200m, where you will see the panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. Time is of the essence on this tour as you are going the long way round, so a quick lunch stop is needed before you head south and drive along the Son Da river and then turn east making your way back towards Hanoi and of course keeping to all the quiet back roads.
Day 1: Hanoi – Ba Vi (160 km/ approx. 6 hours)
You will need to depart Hanoi at 7:30am, and avoiding the busy roads with the rush hour traffic you drive with the river as your companion. On the way, you can admire the enthralling scenery, comprised of small islands crowned with tall evergreen trees. Eventually you will make it to the entrance to Ba Vi National park, and here you have the option to drive up to the mountain peak to admire the immense view from the top and head back down after, or you can just head straight around the National park along the Son Da river, which will be on your right and the endless limestone peaks that provide an ideal combination of peace and wilderness in perfect balance on your left. Eventually you take a left turn and drive east, again taking all the scenic back roads, avoiding the heavy traffic, giving you the opportunity to admire the small local villages and the locals way of life before making it back to Hanoi.

Note: To make a reservation you are required to pay a 30% reservation deposit. we accept credit/debit card payments via Onepay our secure online payment system. We also accept a Western Union or a bank transfer. However, we recommend you pay via Onepay, as it’s quick, convenient, it’s simple to use and is the cheapest way of making a payment. You can pay the remaining balance in our office by credit/debit or cash before you depart on your tour.
